Sarah Rosenberg-Jansen

Sarah has over 10 years’ experience as an energy professional, focusing on: renewable energy technologies, energy access, development and humanitarian policy, economic development and markets - including climate change, disaster risk response, resilience, preparedness, and social protection for marginalised communities.

Sarah has lived and worked in Kenya and India, and undertaken mini-grid and solar energy assessments in Bangladesh, Nepal, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and Jordan. Sarah has worked for the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the Grantham Institute for climate Change at Imperial College London. Working broadly across the climate and energy sectors she has also held previous positions with the Climate Policy Initiative based at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) and the Electricity Policy Research Group at the University of Cambridge.

Sarah is undertaking her DPhil on renewable energy for refugees and humanitarian energy policy.
